Prints, Licensing & Assignments - Stephen DesRoches

Wall Art / Prints

Fine art prints are available and only created by request on demand. All prints are open editions - meaning they are not limited or numbered - and can be offered in a few different ways.

The first are my fine art 'signature prints' that I personally create myself in my home studio. Images are printed on either 'Hot Press Bright' or 'Exhibition Fibre' from Epson Signature Worthy collection of papers. I offer prints that are 8.5x11" for those that love small collectibles or a larger 13x19" that looks great matted in a 24x18" frame.

If you would prefer anything else, send me an email and I'll find a print lab that can create the type of art you're looking for.

Image Usage & Licensing

All of my images are copyrighted and not free to use in any way without prior permission and a detailed usage agreement. Please contact me about any images you wish to use and describe how you plan on using them. We'll work towards a rights-managed or royalty-free agreement that is fair and works for us both.

In late 2010, I started working with Darwin Wiggett and his 25 years of experience photographing the Canadian Rockies to help build, design and publish a series of PDF guides based on his best-selling but out-of-print "How to Photograph the Canadian Rockies" guidebook. The popularity of those ebooks eventually grew into a much bigger library and publishing company with partner Samantha Chrysanthou. I did not write any of these ebooks or do I have any images in them but I am very proud of the collection and what we created.

To date, we have published 22 ebooks on photography. You can find and download all of these ebooks at

Workshops & Mentoring

I occasionally speak at conferences and help out at workshops. The next will be Land and See 2018 in July in Prince Edward Island.

OFFBEAT is now accepting registrations for our Greenland, September 2019 Workshop. If you might be interested in this adventure to stand next to the world's most active glacier, send me a quick email and I'll let you know when I have final details. I would love for you to come with us.

If you just have a question or two, I'm also always available by email to answer or help in any way I can.
