Like most people I know, I like to travel as often as possible. I typically travel with as much gear as I can carry on to the airlines and the only souvenirs I ever come home with are full memory cards. This is both cost effective but also a problem at customs. "You honestly have been travelling for 14 days and did not buy anything?"
With each new trip, it becomes more and more focused. Early mornings, Mid-day naps, Afternoon location scouting, Evening shooting and then repeat all over again the next day.
Either it be for vacation or for work, there is always more to see then available time permits.
